Advises to string tennis rackets.

In TENGOTENIS we want to explain to you how to string a racket so that you adapt it to your play and the effect  that you want to provoke  in your opponent.
The first step is to remove the old string. You have to check the frame´s pattern of the racket before you cut out the strings. Before stringing a racket  you must think that  each racket needs a different  stringing technique. If you don´t know which is the appropriate stringing technique for your racket, you can consult in the website of the manufacturer or in other specialized places.
Once you know  the method of stringing rackets of a determined make, you are ready  to uncoil  and measure the string. You will need  between nine and twelve metres of string for each racket. The flexibility of the string is very important to calculate the length, if you are using nylon or multifilament you will need less string than if you use polyester.
Now you are ready to mount the frame properly in your stringing machine. This is crucial to the outcome of your string job. Proper mounting procedures assures you of holding the frame correctly and securely so that  the stress imposed during the stringing doesn´t  cause the frame to crack, warp or break. Then you have to select the tension  according to the type of stringing machine  you are using.

The opening of the clamps depends on the thickness  and quality of the string. Before you start, you must try with a strap of string. The clam doesn´t have to mark the polyester  because it could get broken.
